Having grown up in the U.K. I remember as children,our trips to the beaches in Devon where the weather was not always as kind as it is here and being so grateful that my sisters,brother and I were able to wear our towelling dresses and hoodies all day!! (I am sure my mother was too!(not having to cart bags of wet towels and clothes home again!)

After making Australia my home 18 years ago and having children of my own - Arabella aged 13 and Olivia aged 8 (who are keen little surfers).  I could never find the towelling dresses and hoodies that I remembered wearing  as a child,so I started making them for myself, my children and friends - and here we are today!                                                       

These garments are proudly HANDMADE in South Australia and have the seal of  approval from my children - they are made from a lightweight stretch cotton terry towelling which is  handy for our climate and conditions and they wash and wear very well. I have finished them off with beautiful ribbons from Holland and other unusual trims for that unique look but ... MOST IMPORTANTLY -  THESE DRESSES OFFER  GREAT PROTECTION AGAINST THE SUN FOR YOUNG SKIN ON THE BEACH!! Altogether a no fuss garment to throw on after all water sports and go...
